About the Server

Stormy Lagoon has been running a Java & Bedrock cross-play survival world since January 4, 2022, building a mature and welcoming community that has grown steadily for over four years. Built on Spigot and running Minecraft 1.21.11, the server layers a carefully curated set of plugins and custom systems on top of a vanilla-style survival foundation — creating a world that feels familiar but rewards long-term investment and creativity.

The world operates on a greylist system — anyone can log in and look around, but a short application unlocks full building and interaction privileges. This keeps the community tight-knit and grief-resistant without the friction of a full whitelist. Land claiming is handled by an advanced plugin with custom flags, giving players granular control over who can interact with their builds, chests, and redstone.

📜 Rules & Culture

The server enforces a civil, PG environment. Theft and griefing are permitted only in unclaimed territory — griefing purely to destroy is not tolerated. X-ray, exploits, cheating, and AFK fish farms are prohibited, but well-designed mob farms and redstone contraptions are encouraged. All ranks are obtainable through voting, not purchase — the server is explicitly not pay-to-win.
