Cookie Policy

MC Monitor Cookie Policy — Last updated: June 20, 2026

1. What Cookies Are

1.1. Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site function, remember your preferences, and in some cases collect analytics data.

1.2. This Policy covers cookies and similar browser storage technologies (such as sessionStorage) used on mc-monitor.app. Data collected via cookies is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

2. What Cookies We Use

2.1. Strictly Necessary Cookie — Session Authentication

We use one cookie. That's it.

Name / Type Purpose Duration Third party?
Session authentication cookie Keeps you logged in to your account Until you log out or session expires No — set by MC Monitor only

This cookie is:

  • HttpOnly: JavaScript cannot read it, protecting against cross-site scripting (XSS);
  • Secure: transmitted only over HTTPS/TLS;
  • Session-scoped: deleted when you log out or close your session.

2.2. What We Do NOT Use

MC Monitor does not use:

  • Analytics cookies (no Google Analytics, no Yandex.Metrica, no similar);
  • Advertising or targeting cookies;
  • Social media tracking pixels;
  • Cross-site retargeting technologies;
  • Browser fingerprinting;
  • Any third-party cookie of any kind.

3. Legal Basis for the Cookie We Use

3.1. Our single session cookie is strictly necessary for the Platform to function — without it, you cannot stay logged in. No consent is required for strictly necessary cookies under the EU ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC) or equivalent legislation.

3.2. Because we use only this one strictly necessary cookie, we do not display a cookie consent banner. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will update this Policy and obtain proper consent before setting any such cookie.

4. Managing Cookies

4.1. You can control cookies through your browser settings:

  • Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data;
  • Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security;
  • Safari: Settings → Privacy;
  • Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.

4.2. Blocking or deleting our session cookie will prevent you from staying logged in. It does not affect your ability to browse server listings without an account.

5. Changes to This Policy

5.1. We may update this Policy at any time. Changes take effect upon publication at mc-monitor.app/cookies.
