RustMe is a Minecraft server project that faithfully recreates the brutal, high-stakes survival experience of Rust — entirely through plugins, with no mods or datapacks required. The team behind RustMe set out to build the first and only server dedicated to translating Rust's core gameplay loop into the Minecraft universe, and they've delivered a world where base raiding, resource scarcity, hostile encounters, and player-driven conflict define every session.

🔩 Rust Survival in Minecraft

The entire Rust experience has been rebuilt from the ground up using server-side plugins. Players spawn into a harsh open world where gathering resources, constructing defensible bases, and forming or betraying alliances are the only paths to survival. The tension of Rust — the constant threat of losing everything to a well-timed raid — is preserved through custom mechanics that govern loot tables, building durability, weapon crafting, and PvP encounters.

🎨 Custom Resource Pack

To complete the transformation, RustMe provides its own resource pack that replaces Minecraft's default textures, sounds, and UI elements with Rust-inspired visuals. The pack is designed to be lightweight and easy to install — players simply download it upon joining and the world immediately shifts from blocky Minecraft aesthetics to something that feels unmistakably like Rust.

• Base Building & Raiding — Construct shelters from gathered materials and defend them against other players using traps, fortifications, and strategic design. Raiding enemy bases is a central pillar of gameplay.
• Resource Scarcity — Materials are deliberately limited, forcing players into competition over key nodes and supply drops scattered across the map.
• PvP & Combat — Custom weapon systems and combat mechanics replicate Rust's gunplay and melee encounters within Minecraft's framework.
• No Mods Required — Everything runs on plugins, meaning any standard Minecraft Java client can connect without additional installations beyond the resource pack.
